Motorola cuts planMotorola will be cutting $800 million in 2009 and laying off 3000 of their work force, since the handset division is not that profible after all. In addition Motorola warns that a turn around will take some time, and their plans will be to focus in the open source mobile operating system Android developed by Google. Could this strategy pay off to focus all of their resources in this new and upcoming trend in the mobile market? Most likely since Motorola has being critize for their not so cool operating system; although they make good handset. Would you own a Google Android operating system with a Motorola handset in 2009?
